How Can You Support Lake Washington Singers?

Lake Washington Singers (LWS) is a treble choir with members ages 18 and up that identify as soprano or alto voices. LWS has been established and singing since 1952. As an non-profit organization, LWS relies on ticket sales, member dues, grants, fundraising activities, and donations from organizations and individuals to cover operational costs including rehearsal space, director and accompanist fees, music, venue rental, scholarship fund, and more. 

Attend Our Concerts 

We wouldn’t do what we do without the energy and support that our audience brings.  We hope that every single person feels a part of the the LWS community! When you buy a ticket and attend a concert, you are directly supporting each member of the Lake Washington Singers.

Participate in Fundraising Activities at Concerts 

We support our Annual High School Scholarship through fundraising activities in December with our Holiday Gift Basket Raffle during our winter concert. Please consider buying a ticket (or two, three, four…) and enter to win one of three amazing themed baskets filled to the brim with wonderful gifts! At our spring dinner concert, you will enjoy bidding by table in our famous Dessert Dash! Choir and audience members alike look forward to collaborating and participating on these fun and festive fundraisers. 

Private Donations

One of our main goals is to be inclusive and keep our monthly dues affordable and accessible. Private donations help support our operational costs and performance expenses.

New! Community Partnership Programs

Lake Washington Singers started a new program in 2024 to build mutually beneficial partnerships in our local communities. If you are a local business owner or work for a local company that is involved in supporting non-profit organizations and the arts, please take a look at our new partnership opportunities. 

The Community Partnership Program offers several ways for businesses of any size to participate. From financial contributions to in-kind donations, all partnerships receive recognition in print, online, and at our concerts which serve 200+ local community members who are family decision-makers, and live, work, play, eat, and enjoy entertainment in our area. Volunteering

Whether it’s helping to serve cookies and coffee at our winter concert, taking tickets at the door, or helping with the many tasks involved with our spring dinner concert, we love our volunteers! Please CONTACT US if you are interested in volunteer opportunities.
