We learned A LOT from our first virtual season, and are ready to tackle another one.  In consideration of what we learned, our Director has made a few changes to the song make up for this season.

We ask that any interested singer sign up by January 16th.  Please CONTACT US, if you are interested in joining us.  Since it is a virtual season, you and your friends can join from World Wide, which has been a lot of fun for us!

Here are the details:

Allison’s Plan:  There will be 3 songs for the entire choir to sing, 3 or 4 songs for smaller groups (15 singers or less) that Allison will direct and room for a few more small groups that will be self organized.

Theme:  The theme is going to be A Pandemic Picnic (or something similar) and all the songs will be about food.

Date:  The concert will premiere the evening of Saturday, June 5th on Facebook and YouTube.

Rehearsing:  As before, each singer will rehearse and record the songs on their own.  Allison will make practice tracks and directing videos and run a few live online sectional rehearsals.  Questions can be asked any time through email or calling. We also have a weekly Zoom “Happy Hour” where we can chat socially or bring up questions

Tech concerns:  Don’t be intimidated!  There are several “Techno-savvy” singers ready to help.

Sheet Music:  We will have the music on the LWS member’s page for you to print off or you can make arrangements with our Librarian to pick up the original octavos.

Dues:  Dues will be $60.  You are certainly welcome to pay more or make a donation to the choir. If you only want to participate in 1 or 2 songs we are asking that you pay $15 per song.

Who:  Any women who loves to sing is welcome. If you have friends or family members anywhere in the world who might be interested, please invite them to join us.
