Lake Washington Singers is open to women age 18 to ?? who love to sing and wish to perform. No formal audition is required; however the director will place you in the proper voice section according to your vocal range. An ear for music and singing ability are needed and sight-reading is a plus.
Our fall 2012 season begins September 10 and ends with the Holiday concerts in December. New members will be accepted September 10 through September 24, 2012.
Our spring 2013 season begins January 7 and ends with our spring concerts in May. New members will be accepted January 7 through January 21, 2013.
Each season we enjoy performing mini-concerts for organizations, retirement homes, and community events.
To achieve quality performances, a commitment to preparation and prompt attendance at our weekly rehearsals is asked of our members.
Monthly membership dues cover the minimal expenses of the chorus.
Our non-profit chorus functions on a volunteer basis to fill offices, share responsibilities, and accomplish fund raising events such as our annual rummage sale, ticket sales, and raffle items that fund our scholarship program.
